Our Movement

We are not the only Christians, but we are Christians only.

At the Church of Christ at Manor Woods, we follow the ways of the early church as described in the New Testament. Ultimately our passion is to remove man-made creeds and clutter in order to fulfill God's plan for His church, His way. Our worship is simple and includes prayer, praising and preaching. The New Testament church participated in celebrating the Lord's Supper every week, and that is our pattern as well. According to Scripture, God's plan of salvation includes faith, repentance, confession, baptism by immersion, and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit. The Bible's instructions for the church are clear and simple. Everything we do strives to follow that pattern. We belong to Christ and we follow Him.

Christian Churches and Churches of Christ are autonomous (no denominational associations), self-governing bodies of believers with Elders and Deacons appointed from within the congregation who seek to follow the guidelines of God's Word, are led by the Holy Spirit, called to make disciples of all nations, and share God's love with each other, our community, and the world.
